It’s Wednesday, September 29 and Dobbs is not happy!

I saw those Chrysler guys earlier today on the full news broadcast (it’s like 9 minutes long). Nowhere in the 9 minute segment does anyone – at anytime – suggest calling or reporting the flagrant law breaking to the police. It seems much more important that we report them to the VP and make a big deal of Chrysler manufacturing. Priorities!

You forget to wear your glasses when you took those photos or is your cellphone that craptastic? If I take my magnifying spectacles off and look at them sideways, they’re almost in focus. This is not the quality journalism I pay for.

Cuppy

Hi Cuppy,

I couldn’t agree more. It’s entirely possible that the reporter did try to call the cops. It’s also entirely possible that monkeys could fly from my butt. I personally would have called the cops. That would make a much better story, but that’s the way I roll.

As to the blurry pics, I have Blackberry now and it focuses on whatever it wants to.

Wait… What? Paying for? If you’re paying for this, I’m not getting my cut! My lawyer (when he gets out of prison) will be in touch!

Elim

Hey,

So your personal blog is NOW released?

Gloria

Hi Gloria,

Yes, and I sent you the address via email. I have no idea why you’d find my personal life of any interest, but there ya’ go.

Here’s a pic of me with my United Security Agency card that came the mail yesterday.

Hi!

I don’t know where you get your information, but rock-hopper penguins are the coolest! Emperor penguins are the trailer trash of the penguin world!

Dobbs!

Hi Dobbs!

Repaying non-sequitur with non-sequitur, here’s the book you asked for:

Hi Elim,

I’ve not seen anything recent with your Obama figurine.

You didn’t use it to burn a Koran, did you?

Eric

Hi Eric,

No, but that’s not a bad idea if I did that sort of thing.

Your wish is my command.

Hey,

You haven’t had much to say on medical marijuana lately.

Marvin (I put the fun in funeral)

Hi Marvin,

You’re a sick puppy.

To me, the issue of medical marijuana is a tempest in a teacup. Last time I checked, about 2% of Montanans have a permit. That’s gonna have to be a bigger number before I give it much more thought.

The Billings City Council extended the moratorium on new shops, but refused to consider further zoning ordinances on the matter. I call it splitting the difference.

Hi Elim,

I see Montana’s ban on cell use while driving takes effect this week. Surely an individual rights advocate like yourself sees this as fail.

Max

Hi Max,

Actually, the ban is just in the city of Billings.

I welcome it.

Sure, you have the right to do whatever you want in your own car, up to but not including putting others in danger. You have the right to be reckless, providing you don’t endanger anyone else. Anyone who sees this as an encroachment on personal liberty has their hat too tight.

Hey,

Hope you don’t mind I borrowed Yelling Guy. I put him in a sociology paper last week and got 10 extra points for it!

Tracy

PS: I think you’re HOT!

Hi Tracy,

I’m quite comfortable actually. It did get a little warm in the office this afternoon, but nothing I’d consider hot.

Nice work on the graphic and for adding Yelling Guy to that meme.

6 Hand Salutes. Give two to your professor.

That’s it for this week’s mailbag. I’m thinking of spreading Reader Mail out over the week, posting and replying as they come in. This way, you won’t have to wait until Wednesday to see if I used your message. Whatcha think?

Remember, the only legitimate way to win Hand Salutes is to post comments about this blog to the FaceBook site about it People Who Love elimtevir.com, or sending your email(s) to: .
