It’s Thursday, December 30, 2010 and we may just make it out of 2010 without a hangnail.
- I can do without the process of shopping for a new truck. I’m still stunned and amazed by the wife up and giving me a new truck, but she was right about this gift: “You’re gonna hate it, then you’ll love it.”
I hate dealing with car salespeople. Being an Internet kind of guy, I went on line and built out the truck I wanted. I sent the result to Archie Cochran Ford (here in Billings) and Laurel Ford (out in Laurel).
So far, Laurel Ford is showing a heck of a lot more interest in selling me a truck. They are sounding like they want to lowball me on the Dutchman, but as I explained, you don’t put 172K on a rig without it’s been taken good care of. Sorry, old bean but you got no wiggle room here. Yeah, I’m wanting twice the book value, but you gotta pay it.
Archie Concran doesn’t seem all that interested.
- I can do without this &*(@^#*@ snow storm. Only supposed to get up to 3 degrees today. With plenty of snow to go around.
- I can do without varied Smurfs, whatever the hell those are:
- It’s not a big deal, but I kinda could do without having to explain some of my jokes. I bet 1 in 5 of my readers will get this:
- Finally, I can do without Kmart messing with my head!
It’s Obama’s fault, I’m sure.
I’m off (from work) tomorrow, so the blog will be late, but well worth the wait! Plus, I’m heading out to Laurel Ford tomorrow to check out what they came up with. Will tomorrow be the day we bring home The Flying Dutchmam IV?
