The Codger Party

Filed under: Death To: — Elim @ 04:27

It’s Thursday, December 29, 2011 and still trying to do something to turn a buck:

Like the one I’m sending to the vet that prescribed my cat the antibiotics for the crud he caught at the feline lockup.

Jack is a pretty mellow cat all the way around, but it’s evident that he hates the medicine. He doesn’t fight and claw or anything and isn’t all that hard to give the medicine to. I kinda wish he was. I’d think I’d rather have to fight him than endure the “You bastard” look he gives me after his dose.

He takes it without resistance, but when you tell him what a good kitty he is… Well, just file it under: “If Looks Could Kill.”

So, if you got a Y U NO thing you want sent to someone, email or US Mail, lemme know and I’ll make and send it.

  1. I can do without the Occupy nutcases showing up again.

Basically, these idiots want to get Iowans to go to the caucuses to try to caucus for “uncommitted.”

I think the idea is to select delegates that are “uncommitted” to eventually send to the national conventions.

So the 99% goofballs are supposed to go to the republican AND democrat caucuses and try to get the people there to vote “uncommitted.”

Uh huh. Be sure to take a video for YouTube!

  2. I can also do without them being assholes, just for the sake of being asshholes.

A pack of these Occupy idiots in Des Moines, Iowa went into a branch office of Wells Fargo to demand an explanation for why Well Fargo (having headquarters in San Francisco) donated money to the Mitt Romney campaign.

Okay, so one of two things is apparent here. The first being that this was done for nothing but the sake of jackassery. I mean come on. The people that WORK there need your crap? You’re disrupting their work place and interfering with customers trying to get some banking done. Other than pissing people off (Trust me, they’re pissed at you idiots, not the big bank) what was your intention here?

Sure, you got some press, but I’m watching the footage and seeing a bunch of twits. Do you really want news coverage that make you look like a bunch of grab asses?

Or, it could be that you’re just basic dumbasses.

Really? How is a branch manager in Des Moines supposed to explain the political contribution plan for a multi-national bank? I kinda doubt he/she was much involved in the process. But hey, go on in there, make a ruckus and see if you get an explanation or get taken out in in handcuffs. I mean because multi-national corporations routinely involve all all their employees in this kind of decision.

I on the other hand don’t work at a multi-national bank, but I can tell you exactly why Wells Fargo donated money to the Romney campaign. You ready? It’s not that complicated…

Because they think that having Romney as our next president will be better for them than for his competitors. Yup, they’re rolling the dice, betting that they’ll make more profits with Romney in charge. With the way the laws are today, they get to do this. Why is your beef with Wells Fargo and not with Romney? It’s not like old Mitt has got to accept the dough. He could say “Ah, hell no! I don’t want their money!”

Because there’s the problem, idiots. It comes down to what exactly is purchased with such corporate contributions. I’m pretty sure they expect at least some influence on him, but it could simply be nothing more sinister than helping somebody they think will be good for their business.

So what is it? Assholes or idiots?

That’s today’s list.

Have a great Thursday and remember that the Friday bog is always a tad bit tardy.
