It’s Friday, and that’s just great.
So I accepted this temp gig and got two calls yesterday for interviews for regular gigs.
Yeah, I know, a lot of you would say that I really don’t owe any loyalty to an outfit that I’ve not yet worked a day for (starts Monday) and that I don’t owe very much to a gig that’s temporary from the get-go.
Which is probably true, but it just wouldn’t feel… right; bailing on the project the day before it starts. That and we got one of them bird in the hand things. Call it sour grapes, but I’d probably be over-qualified for the other gigs anyway.
